Deer in the Headlights

I'm in shock. I'm really leaving home and moving closer to work.

The only thought in my head right now is:

"What the hell am I doing?!???!"

I wonder how much radiation I get from a computer's monitor. I put one o' those blinky lights (LED) on top of my screen and it hasn't stopped blinking since.

Ouch.

Brain Surgery

I want to dissect my parents' brains.

I'm dying to know how I can help ease their worries about the recent events which are happening at home.

1. My sister left for London to work in an Audit firm
2. My other sister and I are moving out to rent our own condo
3. Our ungrateful maid/helper deciding to leave after hearing our plans because she doesn't want to be left alone to tend to my aging parents

My parents will be left with a very big semi-empty house and I'm afraid how the silence will affect them.

If only they would speak their minds.

Perplexed

Can one really consider moving out as part of growing up? Is getting your own place truly a necessary evil?

Then why does it feel wrong after hearing your dad tell you "We will miss your presence here. I'm feeling it already."?
